It’s a bit last minute, but NVIDIA will be holding a tech talk which will cover their CUDA™ technology and Parallel Processing. The presentation will be given by Eric Enderton, who is apart of the Nvidia research team. For more information about CUDA™ click here.

Our first meeting is going to be more of a social event rather than usual professor/industry representative lecturing. We’re going to have a survey about social activities, to see what you want to do this year. We’ll also be giving out the first bi-weekly programming challenge (more about this at the meeting). As usual, free pizza and drinks will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We just created a Facebook group: The Computer Science Club at UC Davis. If you want to hear about upcoming events or meet other members, join the group!
Just a friendly reminder: membership to the club and Facebook group is open to everyone- even if you’re not a CS or CSE major. All you need to do is show up and have a good time; or in the case of the Facebook group, just sign up!
